Implications - The flaunting of one's personal wealth may be nothing new, but in recent years it has grown to new heights. More than ever, people are more consious of displaying just how well-off they really are. When designing packaging as well as products themselves, companies should be conscious of this favouring of flashy designs that can be viewed within consumer society.
