The SUV edition revives the namesake Free Wheeling finishes first introduced in the late-1970s on some of the brands most recognizable models. The vehicle thus features a retro-style sunset-inspired design that includes black finishes across the mirrors, grilles and bumpers. The black interior is accented by red and orange pin striping, which is also extended to the 17-inch matte black wheels. Bronco Sport Marketing Manager Jason Hyde spoke on the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport Free Wheeling edition saying, "Bronco customers appreciate its heritage. After such a great response to the reimagined Bronco Sport Free Wheeling project vehicle in 2021, we decided to bring this special edition that ties Bronco Sport to its fun loving roots.” Image Credit: Ford, [hypebeast](https://hypebeast.com/2023/7/ford-2024-bronco-sport-free-wheeling-special-edition), [ford](https://www.ford.com) ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 18% | Activity: 13% | Freshness: 17% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/autos) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Sunset-inspired Design:** The 2024 Ford Bronco Sport Free Wheeling edition features a retro-style sunset-inspired design with black finishes and red and orange pin striping. - **Nostalgic Revival:** The Free Wheeling edition of the Ford Bronco Sport revives a namesake finish from the late-1970s, appealing to customers who appreciate the brand's heritage. - **Special Edition Variants:** The release of the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport Free Wheeling edition offers customers a limited-edition version of the SUV model with unique design elements. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Automotive:** The automotive industry can take inspiration from the sunset-inspired design of the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport Free Wheeling edition to create visually striking and nostalgic variants of their own models. - **Fashion:** Fashion brands can draw from the retro aesthetics of the Free Wheeling edition to create sunset-inspired collections that evoke a sense of nostalgia and style. - **Consumer Goods:** Consumer goods companies have an opportunity to develop limited-edition products inspired by the unique design elements of the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport Free Wheeling edition, catering to customers who appreciate exclusive offerings. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Retro-Inspired Free Wheeling Cars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bronco-sport-free-wheeling.md) - [Sporty 60s-Style SUVs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ford-bronco-sport-heritage-edition.md) - [Racer-Honoring SUV Models](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/2025-ford-bronco-stroppe-special-edition-suv.md) - [Anniversary-Honoring SUV Models](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/2026-ford-bronco-60th-anniversary-package.md) - [Sporty Exploration SUV Upgrades](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/2025-ford-bronco-sport-sasquatch.md) - [Metallic-Finished Electric SUVs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/2024-mustang-mache-gt-bronze.md) - [Ultra-Exclusive Off-Road SUVs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bronco-desert-racer.md) - [Limited-Edition Surf Culture SUVs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/2025-land-rover-defender-beach-break-edition.md) - [Minimalist Americana Truck Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ford-bronco-concept.md)
