# High-Tech Gas Grills Weber Launched its 2022 GENESIS Grill Lineup with Smart Features By Colin Smith | Published 2023-01-13 | Lifestyle Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/2022-genesis-grill References: [weber](https://www.weber.com/US/en/US-2022-Genesis-Grills.html) Weber launched the '2022 GENESIS Grill' collection of outdoor kitchenware equipped with smart features. Weber's marketing states that the 2022 GENESIS is the company's "Biggest gas grilling innovation in 15 years," and the spec sheet reflects this bold claim. These grills feature Weber's proprietary 'PUREBLU' high-heat burners that are specifically engineered to deliver a gas-efficient, evenly balanced flame across each burner. This means these grills are not subject to gimmicks where one portion burns hotter than the other, or where flames are unequal as gas levels reduce, resulting in a consistent cooking experience every time. One of the most notable features that makes the 2022 GENESIS stand out from its competitors is its WEBER CONNECT companion application. This mobile app allows for real-time monitoring of food, including temperature monitoring, timers, and step-by-step grilling assistance programs to teach home chefs how to cook like professionals. On top of this, the WEBER CONNECT application allows the griller to spend more time interacting with family, friends, and guests, and less time standing in front of the grill.
