The 2015 [Nissan](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nissan-z) 370Z NISMO is a visually reworked and more powerful version of the Nissan 370Z sports car, which itself is a reworked version of Nissan's predecessor [Datsun's iconiic 240Z series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/seiko-prospex-speedtimer-x-datsun-240z-collection) from the 1970s.

The 2015 Nissan 370Z NISMO is fitted with a 3.7-liter V6 engine capable of pumping out 350 horsepower thanks to the addition of a tuned H exhaust system and muffler. The engine produces 276 pounds-feet of torque, and is hooked up to either a [6-speed manual](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/venom-f5m) or 7-speed automatic transmission featuring Nissan's Downshift Rev Matching technology.

The vehicle is also equipped with enhanced performance dampers, springs and stabilizer bars. Oversized sport brakes aid in deceleration during track driving.

The 2015 Nissan 370Z NISMO will go on sale in the US in July, with prices starting at $44,000.
