People used to flock to cities out of necessity. It's where jobs, commerce, and life was. Then, there was the exodus from cities, and the rise of suburban life. But cities aren't done yet, and new urbanism (among other things) is bringing everyone back to town. These 99 marvelous metropolises show why. In a city, there's something to do and someone to talk to any time you want.

Implications - My favorites among these great metropolis finds include subway ticket portraits, which feature realistic renderings of subway passengers on ticket stubs, and the virtual scavenger hunt, which allows gamers to inhabit a virtual environment to locate a series of items and complete objectives.
