From Earth Day Ads to Sneaky Free Speech Campaigns

This collection of marketing campaigns targeting residents of China are all noteworthy for different reasons. Some are lighthearted, while others are moving. What's apparent in this collection of recent advertisements, experiential campaigns and commercials, there are some recurring themes such as family, environmentalism and empowerment. Many Chinese residents are having growing concerns over these issues, not accepting the status quo or what has been done in the past. For example, the SK-II ad is powerful, debunking the belief that women over 25 are "leftover women" and less desirable to society because of this.

Another interesting element of this collection of examples is that many are incredibly engaging and immersive experiences included, ranging in scale and cost.
