Gadgets can encompass a wide variety of tech-related products but this list of 2018 gadget trends showcases some of the best and most innovative pieces of technology to automate or improve the lives of almost all users.

Perhaps one of the most unique items on this list, the Dreamlight sleep mask utilizes lights and sounds to induce a long and restful sleep. Showcased at CES 2018, the Dreamlight blends orange and green light to induce sleep, while also taking advantage of white noise and soothing sounds to further a state of peaceful rest. Owners and users of the Dreamlight will also be contributing to 23andMe and their studies on understanding how humans rest.

Also featured on this list is a unique wearable device that is meant to help Buddhists keep track of their prayers and meditations. Developed by Acer, the Leap Beads help keep track of the number of prayers spoken by a user, so they can focus on finding spiritual peace. The wearable gadget can also connect to a smartphone app to give users more information on various prayer-based metrics.
