In his talk, the Design Director for Obama’s 2008 campaign explains how important it is to integrate and sync different fields, techniques and ideas—leading the first political campaign that relied heavily on design, content and branding gave the designer a deep understanding of this.
Thomas stresses in his creative collaboration keynote that we need to constantly keep evolving and take on a work ethic that has us building airplanes while already in the air. He also leaves the audience with two simple things to follow: surround yourself with people you motivate you and write things down.
