I was encouraged by one of my instructors to become apart of the Trend Hunter community. After publishing a few trends online, this newly discovered interest of mine has now become an addiction.
I hold a degree in Communication Studies and Psychology and thought pursuing a diploma in Creative Advertising would compliment the degree that I already have. What can I say? I'm a sucker for sleepless nights and never ending projects.
Writing has become a new passion of mine, and one of the main reasons I decided to start submitting my work on Trend Hunter for publication was to improve the quality of my writing. I strongly believe that the ability to write and speak well, brings with it the opportunity to change lives.

What is unique that's not in your bio?
I can fold my tongue into a cloverleaf.
What's your favorite accomplishment?
Successfully finishing John Adam's Advertising Layout and Design class - that was not an easy task.
How do you define cool?
My definition of cool: Confidence!
The way you carry yourself is a key component of how you feel about yourself. If you portray yourself as someone who is confident, the feeling of confidence will surely follow. There is nothing sexier than a person who can carry themselves confidently. "Fake it, 'til you become it" ~ Amy Cuddy
What is your secret to uncovering trends?
Step one: read published trends.
Step two: click on the references of those published trends.
Step three: scroll through those references and any other links associated with it for undiscovered trends.
Any good trend starts with good research, so another great method is to read random blogs a lot of people don't know about. Reading unheard of blogs can lead to great insights.
What do you enjoy most about Trend Hunter?
The creative freedom Trend Hunters have with their submissions.
What is your favorite trend?
The wooden bow-tie
What are your tips for writing a juicy post?
Don't try too hard. Trying to be perfect will not only stress you out but could also prove to be futile. From what I can see so far, the juiciest posts are the ones that avoid using formal language. These are the posts that are written well simply by writing simply.
How do you reset to be creative?
Every day I write three pages to help reset my brain. I write these three pages for the sake of writing, the purpose is to write without being bogged down with spelling, grammar, or sentence structure errors. Writing helps to relieve writer's block, and to overcome my anxiety over wanting every word, sentence, and punctuation to be perfect. Writing everyday, regardless of how great it is, makes room for creativity.
What inspires or excites you?
People! People who are passionate and excited about what they do and this can be very contagious. You'll always find me listening to Tony Robbins or other inspirational figures.
Predict something awesome for 2020?
Well behaved boyfriends... okay so that might be pushing it so I'll go with a small scale ShoWash (Shower + Carwash = ShoWash for personal use) mind blown, I know!
