The Ziplamp by Merry Design Studio is an ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styren) light stick sheathed in a neoprene cover. To turn on the Ziplamp, just unzip its cover until the desired amount of light is revealed.

Even though the Ziplamp is a completely family-friendly piece of lighting, there's something that feels a bit naughty about unzipping the lamp to turn it on.

Implications - The design industry has taken up the minimalist concept to substitute the high-end complex designs that rules the industry for some time. Consumers are starting to enjoy the idea of simplicity due to the stresses of everyday life, so they want products that are easy on the eyes and serve their purpose. Brands simplifying their goods will save shoppers the strain of dealing with complex items they don't have the time for. Stats for Lights That Undress Trending: Older & Chilly
