Zeynep Inanli has sued Starbucks due to second-degree burns from drinking tea that was too hot from the giant coffee corporation's 685 Third Avenue store in Manhattan.
The plaintiff's complaint said that she was served tea that was "unreasonably hot, in containers which were not safe." Taking a stab at those iconic Starbucks takeaway cups, the complaint further alleges that Inanli suffered "great physical pain and mental anguish."
The plaintiff sues Starbucks for unspecified damages.
