The Dongdaemun Design Plaza, which was designed by Zaha Hadid, is set to become the new cultural centre of Seoul, Korea.

The centre will feature a museum, park, library, and other creative locations. The design also is a tribute to traditional Korean gardening, with lotus ponds, pebble beds and bamboo. Set in a busy downtown hub, The Dongdaemun Design Plaza seems to be a calm in the midst of a storm.
