The KK Apartment by Yukio KImura is located in the heart of Osaka, Japan. The industrial loft space is designed for a young couple who plan on expanding their family and raising a small child in the near future.
When describing his concept for this residence, designer Yukio Kimura states that while "minimal design can be considered as a cold and hard approach, this apartment's inhabitants will work better in a limited interior that will allow them to infuse their own personality within it."
The open-concept space features exposed structural elements and even features custom-designed table and chair pieces. The KK apartment is painted white, a tone that works well with the residence's metal fixtures and finishes.
