Though weddings, birthdays, or graduations might feel like they're all about the individuals undergoing those momentous occasions, the New York Times' 'Your Special Day' book is a cute and clever way to commemorate the event with a broader scope. The custom books include all the news from any given date, in any year since 1851 (the year in which the New York Times began publishing.)

The Your Special Day Books offer two different ways to give a gift. In the case of a birthday or wedding anniversary, the books can contain the paper from the recipient's date of birth or wedding date. On the other hand, the books can serve as graduation gifts that memorialize the newsworthy topics and current events -- something that the recipients can always return to as a memory.
