One of the latest trends in landscaping is to make the outdoors an extension of your living space.

The difference between inside and outside is becoming less marked, and landscaping is echoing certain trends in interior decoration. The current trend for Zen has made its way outdoors and we are seeing a lot of wood, stone and natural materials being used in landscaping. Neutral tones are visually pleasing and instil a feeling of serenity and cohesion. Symmetrical designs and round shapes are soothing – look for them especially in arches, pillars, chairs, or elegant urns. (rona)
