This week, Yiorgos Eleftheriades debuted his Spring/Summer 2011 collection at Barcelona Fashion Week. Drawing from his Greek nationality, Eleftheriades featured something of a modern, chic Greek goddess with the incorporation of rope details and bronze hues.

What stood out, though, was Yiorgos Eleftheriades’s various shoulder-enhancing pieces like one-shoulder colorblocked dresses and cut-out shoulder blouses.

Implications - Showing too much skin is often considered distasteful, but in small doses, showing parts of one's body becomes fashionable. The legs and midriff have typically been the body parts bared, due to their sensual nature, but these shoulder-baring fashions show that any part of the body, no matter how unconventional, can be considered both sexy and fashionable.
