Fans of fashion photography should be happy to know that the International Center of Photography (ICP) is launching an extensive ‘Year of Fashion’ event on January 16.

‘Year of Fashion’ consists of a series of six exhibitions throughout 2009 that study and celebrate the history of fashion photography and explore the relationship between art and fashion, all the way back from the 1920s to the present time.

The exhibits feature works of artists and photographers such as Steven Klein, Steven Meisel, Mario Sorrenti, Edward Steichen, Richard Avedon, and Nick Knight.

Incidentally, Trend Hunter Magazine has rolled out a new ‘Fashion Photography’ category this week. We will be filling the page with our older fashion photography posts soon, so make sure to bookmark it and check back for a dose of delicious fashion photography.
