There is something truly humbling about the WW2 Veterans portrait series. Since it captures celebrated war survivors, people who have experienced things this pampered generation has thankfully never been subjected to, this series really makes viewers appreciate everything that they did.

Shot by photographer Konstantin Suslov as his final university project, the WW2 Veterans portrait series has garnered a lot of attention. He writes, "In light of the 65th anniversary of the end of war, I felt that it was a timely moment to create a documental historical record of people across the world who were once united under the of the World War Two."

Stoic yet poignant, the WW2 Veterans portrait series is definitely heart-warming.
