When it comes to valuable works of art, some people struggle to decide how best to protect them as well as display them so that they might be enjoyed. The Wunderkammer is a solution to this conundrum, perhaps performing best as a place to stash assorted items that will no longer fit on already-occupied walls or surfaces.

In collaboration with Fritz Hansen and WeAreFamilia, Joe Doucet designed this safekeeping box that's generous enough in size to accommodate a variety of artifacts, such as sculptures and paintings together. But more than a mere trunk, the Wunderkammer incorporates a chair into its lid and a vertical light fixture as well. These two additional elements let you sit with your prized items and examine them closely. Stats for Art Appreciation Furnishings Trending: Older & Chilly
