The Wow Shelf looks like a clever crimping of a sheet of metal, and, in fact, it is. A technique that may have stricken you as an optical illusion was actually made possible through the careful perforation and creasing of the stiff aluminum strip. As such, it could be bent 360 degrees without breaking.
The rigid material has been treated like a ribbon as Arthur Analts worked to create loops that would flatten out into planar pleats with perpendicular projections to function as ledges. The storage system expresses its industrial character but can sport a bold and colorful finish to dress it up for any room. The pocket-like sills of the Wow Shelf enable it to hold all sorts of small doodads like hardware over the workbench and keys and wallets in the foyer.
