Since I’ve started writing for Trend Hunter, it seems we’ve covered, “the world’s largest” or “tallest” building several times. On each occasion, after getting ready to file it as duplicate, I have discovered the new blue prints are, in fact, bigger than the last.

The race is on the become the biggest, tallest, most tremendous building in the world. Who will win the global monster skyscraper competition? Likely no one, as it seems in this realm of design, the sky really is the limit.

Here are some of the tallest pieces of architecture we’ve seen, from skyscrapers to ferris wheels.
