The cracks themselves take on the form of a little boy who huddles near a water pipe hoping that a drop comes out. Incredibly powerful images, they will move just about anyone to "bring water to their lives," as urged in the tag line.

Conceived and executed by art director Hani Jawhari for Un Water, the World Water Day 2013 ad campaign heralds a great cause. A means of focusing attention on the importance of freshwater and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources, this international day brings stark awareness to the tough conditions some people are forced to live in.
