Liu Unveils an Intriguing Wine Orchestra Commercial

Former Editorial Intern Marissa Liu has found two of her favorite things, music and wine, in this creative and innovative wine orchestra commercial. Apart from having a knack for finding trends that are on the cutting edge, she also takes her knowledge in social media and uses that to advise other businesses. She also holds her experience at Trend Hunter in high regard, as she describes it as a great opportunity not only for herself but also for anyone else who wants to expand their experience.

What is your favorite trend and why?

My favorite trend currently is viral commercial videos. I have a really good example of it here, which is wine orchestra commercials. It's a commercial for a winery and they use their product to create a symphony of sound using wine. The reason why I really like this video is because it uses the product that they are trying to sell in a new and innovative way that most people would probably not think of. It also incorporates two of my favorite things: music and wine.

How do you define cool?

I would define cool as someone or something that exudes effortless charm. Something that's really memorable, but isn't trying hard to be something it's not.

What is your favorite part about working at Trend Hunter?

My favorite thing about working at Trend Hunter was the enthusiasm and just the encouragement that everyone here gives each other to try to be as creative as possible, to try to motivate each other in as positive of a way as possible. It was a really great work environment. It was really cool to learn a little bit more about topics that I wasn't necessarily as interested in when I started.

What advice would you give to the business world?

My advice to the business world would be social media related. If you are a business and you're looking to promote yourself through social media, you really have to look at it. Don't just set up Twitter or Facebook or whatever random new social media tool. Really look at what's out there and look at what tools will help you best reach out to your target markets.

Any last thoughts you'd like to add about Trend Hunter?

If you are looking to get into online publishing, expand your experience with social media, be creative in the world of online publishing in any way, shape or form I would recommend coming to work or trying to come to work at Trend Hunter.
