I’ve never employed this technique to fix a windshield crack, but it does seem quite intriguing as a do-it-yourself (DIY) project.

Unfortunately, judging by several YouTube video reactions, this mixture of salt, rubbing alcohol, bug spray, and water, just doesn’t seem to work.

However, with well over 6,000 views on this home video, the producer does seem to have been successful in generating web traffic!
