For a great place for Halloween costume ideas, the idea might actually lie over seas. The “Weekend of horrors” is Europe’s only Horror convention. It is a bizarre event loved by gore lovers who come to Bottrop, Germany in mid-November, a few weeks after North American Halloween. Bottrop is a city part of the “Ruhrgebiet”, an innovative area known for its former coalmining days and the"biggest German town.” 1.6 million young people come there for live performances like"Captain Catastrophy” and “The Incredible Blood Brother” Show.

Horror movies by Georg Romeo (Diary of Death) and Jack Brooks (Monster Slayer) are played at “Weekend of horrors” which people get inked with ghoulish tattoos and special effects makeup can be admired on show performers. A lot of horror movie stars are expected to show up, like Michael Biehn (Terminator, Alien), Sid Haig (Devil’s Rejects, Halloween) and Bill Moseley (Devils Rejects,Texas 2.)
