Designer Yiweishen's weapon-inspired notebooks do more than provoke anger -- it turns these emotions into works of art.

Grenades, handguns and knives are just a few of the weapons people have used against each other, not to mention the invisible ones they use to attack each other with. Yiweishen takes these violent weapons and uses them as inspiration for his weapon-inspired notebooks in hopes of transferring one's emotions, positive or negative, onto paper instead of another human being. Whether it is in writing or drawing that helps release the internal rage, wrath, frustration or longing within, the designer hopes that within these violent empty emotions, people can find peace in their artful expression, minimalizing any potential harm they may bestow on another.
