Chris Pardo designs a modern waterfront cabin on the Island of Marrowstone. This home is built by 'Method Homes,' and consists of a prefab modular unit with one-bedroom and one-bathroom accommodations. This modern and compact piece of architecture is called 'Element 1' and sits on a waterfront property that blends into the natural surroundings.
This type of building design is perfect for those times when you want to stay connected to the outdoors. It measures 825 square feet partially covered in floor-to-ceiling windows that open up to a deck. The windows frame the wooded and coastal views of the Puget Sound as well. The corner with the bedroom opens up as well allowing the space to be filled with natural light.
The exterior is made from corten rusted steel and cedar siding.
