What an utterly awful way to die. Britain's Metropolitan Police are fearing the use of the Wasp Knife. The dangerous knife instantly freezes the internal organs of stabbed victims by injecting a ball of compressed gas into their body.
The £200 'Wasp Knife' features a needle in the tip of its blade that shoots a frozen ball of gas. This gas ball instantly grows and balloons to the size of a basketball. All tissue and organs near the blast freeze, leading to instant death.
The knife was originally developed for downed pilots, soldiers and security guards to use against sharks, bears, and other large predators.
The Wasp injection website explains, “The effects of the compressed gas not only cause overinflation during ascent when used underwater, but also freezes all tissues and organs surrounding the point of injection on land or at sea.â€
