Argentinean brand Wanama follows in the footsteps of Vivienne Westwood and infuses their Spring/Summer 2009 ad campaign with a wild gypsy vibe.
Colorful fashion, tattoos, head wraps, and flowing dresses are showcased in the ads, which were photographed by Andy Cherniavsky.
The campaign features male model Lucho Jacob alongside some beautiful females.
Implications - The gypsy lifestyle is one that involves freedom, travel and physical indulgences. The recreation of these themes in photography and artwork through whimsical clothing, exotic head wraps and the like, point to a growing desire for the modern day consumer to relieve themselves of daily hassles to live a more stress-free lifestyle -- not unlike that of a gypsy.
