'Walking the Block' is a series of raw photographs captured by Jo Ann Santangelo. The Texas-based photographer shot photos of the streetwalkers and escorts of Christopher Street in the West Village of New York City.

The photographs featured in 'Walking the Block' were shot in the evening and depict a variety of men and women wandering the iconic street dressed in some unusual and eccentric fashions.
