'Walk a Mile in Her Shoes' to Support Battered Women
A group of San Diego men are gathering to promote a cause for battered women. Entitled as 'Walk a Mile in Her Shoes,' this event features men of all ages strutting their stuff in heels as they walk a mile in pumps.
What many men have realized is the pain and suffering of walking in heels on a daily basis. The balance of walking can mimic the balance of life and misery that many battered women have to prevail. One step at a time, these men will 'Walk a Mile in Her Shoes' and hopefully many more will too, in hopes to successfully end the abuse.
