Vroom Makes Purchasing a Car as Easy as Shopping for Shoes Online

Vroom Inc. is bringing e-commerce to the audio industry with a mobile app and desktop site that makes shopping for -- and purchasing -- a vehicle as easy as getting a pair of shoes online.

With Vroom's app or through its website, users can browse through thousands of pre-owned vehicles. If they see a car that they think is right for them, they can purchase it on the spot, removing the hassle of negotiating a good price and writing up heaps of paperwork. Vroom then has a fleet of delivery trucks that will bring the vehicle straight to users. Users have seven days to test drive the vehicle, with the option to return it if they don't like it.

Vroom uses a proprietary algorithm to appraise the vehicles on its site, meaning that neither seller nor buyer can fudge the system, and all deals are fair.
