VotePromise2015 is a millennial event that aims to revolutionize politics while encouraging voter turnout during Canadian elections. The gathering will be hosted by the Democracy Education Network (DEN) and will be held in Toronto's UNIUN Nightclub location on June 17th.

This political initiative invites visitors to make a vote promise upon arrival and gives them the option of bringing a non-voting friend or family member to upcoming elections. VotePromise2015 appeals to a younger demographic, a group most election agencies have not been able to reach in past attempts to increase voter turnout.

Driven by stats -- less than 40% of young Canadians voted during the last federal election -- DEN aims to change the minds of our nation's youth by reminding them about the importance and impact of getting politically involved.
