The Vote Because campaign by HBO Max and Rock the Vote was launched six weeks before this year's eventful 2020 US election and was brought to life by creative agency Engine.

The campaign encouraged voters to share what issues have most affected them, their families and their greater communities and was promoted with a unique social media call to action. The ad encouraged readers to fill in the blanks of the following statement: "#VoteBecause _________ Depends On It" and resulted in honest exchanges from American voters.
