Brilliant photographer Craig McDean created an out-of-this-world editorial of fantasy couture for a recent issue of Vogue Italia.

The ‘Pure Wonder’ editorial features the talented model, Caren Elson, in uber eccentric fashion creations that are more suitable for paintings of fairy tales and fantasies than the fashion scene of 2008.

But that’s why the editorial captivates and inspires. The eccentric fashion creations are presented with fantastic art direction and with excellent modeling skills.

Umm, I actually thought the hair do was one of the best things about it. For me, it's stuff like this that makes Vogue special and not the "normal" beauty. but I'm a guy and I've been having super short hair for a long time, so you know more about the bangs, lol.

Totally agree that it's awesome and unique, Ayman.. but it's what I'll call a "micro bowl cut," and really not attractive, in my opinion. If it's a wig, OK, it's a great editorial, but this would seriously ruin all her other modeling opportunities until it grows out.. which could be a while.
