Visions and Trends Toward Six-Figure Salaries
[Edit]
Both the Bureau of Labor Statistics and CareerBuilder.com claim that “Physicians command the highest salaries in the nation” and they list the nine other jobs that will earn you over 100K. I’m going to add three more to that list and make it a baker’s dozen.
Researchers list the following nine occupations as 100K+ jobs, after Physician:
2. Chief Executive - $140,000+
3. Airline Pilot - $135,000
4. Dentist - $134,000
5. Lawyer - $111,000
6. Air Traffic Controller - $106,000
7. Engineering Manager - $105,000
8. Computer and Information Systems Manager - $102,000
9. Marketing Manager - $102,000
10. Astronomer - $101,000
CareerBuilder also provides information on how to land those six-figure jobs. You can click on the link below to read more.
I offer the following additional guidelines for earning $100,000+ annually:
11. 1099 or W2 Contingent Worker - That means all the thieves and consultants, who are charging $150 an hour to do their thing for your company. Most of the time, this means just asking company employees a lot of questions and the employees come up with all the right answers.
You can apply as a Contingent Worker if you meet the following criteria: you have a stack of business cards, an H1 Visa, and/or insatiable curiosity; and you don’t mind sharing some of your salary with a “preferred” vendor (headhunter, just like the IRS - legalized Mafia).
12. Hooker - Almost the same job description as number 11, except that inoculations are not tax deductable. No, I didn’t actually see Heidi Fleiss’ Federal Income Tax Return, you’ll just have to take my word for it.
This is an Equal Employment Opportunity position and thanks to Affirmative Action, all sexes, nationalities, and religious affiliates can apply.
13. Member of Congress - Almost the same job description as numbers 11 and 12, except they are investing their money off-shore.
You can successfully run for Congress only if you know other members of Congress.
Before you take the next career plunge, you should consider reading Robert Kiyosaki’s book “Rich Dad Poor Dad.” Well, there you have it. May the force be with you, good luck with your job search.
