MOON HOON Architects designed the Visang House in Gyeonggi-do, Korea. The home, which is located on a narrow plot of land that offers mountain views, was designed for a young and energetic couple.
The architects wanted to mirror the energy and spirit that this young couple possessed, which is how they decided on the home's distinctive rising form. The upward mobility of the structure ensures that the exterior is visually arresting, while the interior is spacious and functional. Inside, the home holds a space designed like an opera balcony, allowing the couple to enjoy movies as though they are at the theatre.
The home is far from typical, inside and out. Its distinct character is reflective of the dynamic, colorful energy of its inhabitants.
