“Evolution of Technology” is a brilliant promotional campaign by the German electronics retailer, Saturn, which presents a Darwinian-like evolutionary struggle for survival among different species. However, the struggle takes place among robotic fish, dinosaurs, insects and other artificial creatures that viciously destroy one another in a survival of the fittest scenario. This advert, which showcases the rapid and competitive evolution of technology, is dark and violent but also very innovative and artistic.  This vicious advert for German electronics retailer Saturn romps through an imagined evolutionary history of technology. The concept builds on agency Scholz & Friends Berlin’s techno-erotic campaign, closing with their motto, “We love technology! We hate expensive!
