Let’s face the fact: save the craze for retro we would not have dreamed of considering our collection of old LP records as a bunch of potential design-objects bearing any esthetic quality. Ever since the beginning of the 80-ies – that’s when the first CDs appeared-we have been keeping our vinyl records for no purpose whether neither having the heart to discard them nor being inclined to listen to them.

In the spirit of recycling Budapest- based Tipton Eyeworks reinvented the LP records lending them a new existence as commodity objects by creating a collection of spectacle-frames called Vinylize.

Vinylize helps express your fashion-forward, environmentally-minded personality and it consists of stylish and very wearable optical frames and shades for both men and women craving to stand out of the crowd.

New 2013 collection Vinylize inspired by vintage designs, with some modern and avaunt-gard touches. All frames are handmade with the best craftsmanship techniques in their Budapest workshop. The grooves of the vinyl record give one of a kind look to each pair of Vinylize and the idea that you can see the world through music vinyls of inimitable Jimi Hendrix (for example) is just amazing!

Vinylize has a very selective distribution policy. Today it’s collection presented in the best optical boutiques in about 38 countries in the world. Fans include celebrities like Elton John and Flo Rida.
