There are vegetarians and then there are hardcore vegans. It’s safe to say the group of people featured in the gallery above fall into the latter category.

Tattoo ink is not always vegan. It almost always contains glycerin as a carrier which comes from animal bones (yummy). With body art popular among the animal rights community, the request for vegan tattoos is becoming increasingly popular.

All of these tattoos ARE vegan. Clearly some are literal translations of the subject, while others are cool tattoos done with Vegan ink.
