Vanity Fair Recreates Hitchcock - Foster, Theron, Zellweger, Paltrow, Knightley... (GALLERY)
[Edit]
Vanity Fair has recreated the world of Hitchcock with stars such as Jodie Foster, Charlize Theron, Scarlett Johansson, Renee Zellweger, Gwyneth Paltrow and Robert Downey Jr. Every photograph represents one of the Hitchcock movie posters.
The posters include, The Birds: Jodie Foster, Rear Window: Scarlett Johansson and Javier Bardem, Dial M for Murder: Charlize Theron, North by Northwest: Seth Rogen, Marnie: Naomi Watts, Vertigo: Renee Zellweger, Psycho: Marion Cotillard, Rebecca: Keira Knightley and Jennfer Jason Leigh, To Catch a Thief: Gwyneth Paltrow and Robert Downey Jr.
“What makes these scenes so impressive is that they don’t last long in the movies, but they have become classic,” says photographer Art Streiber, who shot two of the portfolio pictures. “They hold up 50, 60 years later, as stills, without dialogue. You know immediately what it is.”
