The USC Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy Focuses on Invention

Those who truly respect the Beats empire and how it reached the pinnacle of its fame by being acquired by Apple will love the idea of enrolling in the USC Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy. A new educational venture by music moguls and Beats by Dre founders Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine, the program is created in partnership with University of Southern California.

Created around the Arts, Technology and the Business of Innovation, the USC Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy focuses on invention and conceptual thinking. Accepting 25 to 30 new students every year, the program has kicked off successfully so far. Occupying a highly coveted spot, freshman in the inaugural class Arjun Mehta, shares his experience with Hypetrak.
