Upcoming Pop Culture event in Madrid

Spanish society is recovering the symbols of Spanish Pop Culture from the past decades, the symbols that contain and explain a lot about our current social essence. ¿Want something to prove it? Here you have it, the 2nd edition of “Cultura Pop” event that will take place on April the 20th for 3 days in Madrid. Last Year’s edition was surprisingly successful, with a lot of activities from music to cinema, including lectures about the influence of pop culture in Art and also a small merchandising area.

For the skepticals about this movement, just some marketing bites. Pop Culture sounds friendly to most young spaniards from different ages, meaning happiness and possitive feelings, and of course it is strongly connected to the Vintage trend in clothing and the revival of the Mod look in Spain, so something of all this may have come to stay. Let’s see what happens this year but I guess there will be a lot of visits (free entrance is the key), and a growth in media relevance for the event.
