Naoko Ogawa likes her jewelry and body creations to be sensual and therefore integrates the body as a part of the accessory. Her “Poppy Tattoo,” for example, is comprised of silver and gold leaf and features another body image traced onto the wearer. Naoko Ogawa also sells “Gathering Jewelry,” or pieces of gold and silver plate that she encourages the wearer to crush onto her clothing, thereby creating a totally unique piece of jewelry.
