 United Pepper of Belgium (CES 2008) Although this may look like a monstrous children’s toy, the plush cyclops is really a webcam. The Belgian eco-gadgets are meant to look like sea creatures, like starfish and clams, while providing geeky functionality. United Pepper of Belgium brought their assortment of child-friendly gizmos to CES 2008 in hopes of finding a North American distributor. The company prides itself on sustainable development and being as eco-friendly as possible. While kids may enjoy using these on their first PC, items like the Lili Webcam are also a great way for protective parents to keep a watchful eye on naive children who might not be so tech savvy yet.  United Pepper is born from a simple idea: create technological product for an easy life.
