Anti Agency Created a Unique Typeface Inspired by Produce

An Oslo-based creative industry created a unique typeface called ‘Grillography.’ The agency, called ‘Anti,’ created the typography entirely out of supermarket produce. The project was made in collaboration with a Scandinavian supermarket chain called Rimi.

The supermarket wanted to find a fun way to promote themselves this summer season, so it was fitting to use summer’s most popular foods that involve using the barbecue. Barbecuing is such an important part of the allure of summer and the season’s succulent cuisine.

Using grilled meat, fish and vegetables, Anti created various outdoor ads. According to the agency, all the letters were created by hand with no help from Photoshop. They were either cut or formed into a desired letter using its natural shape.
