The S'up Spoon is a unique spoon, developed by Scottish design engineering consultants 4c Design, that is designed for people with motor control issues that cause their hands to shake. The spoon is something that's easy to take for granted, but people with motor control problems often have a hard time using one without frustrating spills.

This unique spoon was inspired by Grant Douglas, a man who suffers from cerebral palsy. A computer science graduate, Douglas teamed up with 4c Design graduate intern Mark Penver, and the two decided to design a spoon that would reduce spillage for people with uncontrollable arm movements.

4c Design have taken to Kickstarter to raise funds to make the S'up Spoon widely available. A pledge of $30 will secure you a single S'up in black/dark gray, with deliveries estimated to begin in December if the campaign hits its fundraising goal.
