Dove Canada, a division of Unilever, is introducing a stainless steel refillable case for its selection of deodorants. To be "refilled for life," Dove Refillable Deodorant closes a gap in the market for refillable deodorant products by the famous brand.
The refillable is a small, "super-durable" stainless steel case enclosed in 96% recycled and recyclable plastic packaging. This is part of Unilever's ongoing initiatives to lessen its environmental impact and choose eco-friendly substitutes. The product is reusable and boasts a "kind to skin" aluminum-free formula with glycerin for soft, supple skin.
“We’re excited to make sustainable personal care products accessible with the launch of Dove Refillable Deodorant,” says Firdaous El Honsali, global vice president of communications and sustainability at Unilever. “We are looking at every facet of our packaging and are working toward our commitment to make all plastic packaging reusable, recyclable or compostable by 2025.”
