This Device Can Capture High Definition Images of Athletes

As a means to improve the process of taking underwater photographs of the summer's Olympic swimmers, a specially designed robot was created.
Produced by Getty with the help of professional photographers Al Bello, Clive Rose and Adam Pretty, the device offers more high definition imagery from much of what was previously seen. In addition to this, it can capture underwater photographs from a variety of angles with ease.
Although some might fear that a robot that does this could take over much-needed jobs, its needed human assistance to function makes it a helpful tool rather than an all-inclusive underwater photographer. In order to use it, photographers simply control it with an accessible remote that allows them to change the lens' position whenever they'd like -- making it different from other devices which need to be turned by hand.
