UN Peace Robots Make Love, Not War

We all know by now that sci-fi has a way of becoming sci-fact. So here it is: The United Nations have enlisted Peace Robots to serve as an ad-hoc intervention squad on their behalf. The good news?  They're not here to kill us.

Actually, these little helicopters of love are sort of adorable. Still, I wouldn't want to be swarmed, even by Peace Robots. We're optimistic about what these bots can do, but also, to be honest, a little bit scared.

Implications - The UN robots are yet another example of machines adopting practical human responsibilities in unlikely places. The peacebots are subject to the same principles as human intervenors in crisis areas. The self-governed machines will be sent out in swarms.
